Jennifer Lopez Conquers All On Sia-Penned Power Ballad 'Limitless'

After offering the 2018 American Music Awards with the debut performance of the track, Jennifer Lopez has released "Limitless," her musical contribution to her forthcoming film, Second Act, which hits theaters on December 21.

On Friday (November 16), the studio version of the power ballad hit digital retailers and hears Lopez changing the pace compared to her recently-released singles. On the four-minute cut, which was written by Sia, the entertainer sings an empowering tale of conquering doubt, a narrative that follows her character in the upcoming movie. "I told myself I had to be a different someone/ In order to win at a war I had already won/ Yeah, I'd given up on the saying 'I'll never give up'/ But look at me now/ Yeah, look at me, I'm limitless," she belts during the pulsating hook. Expect a music video for the track to drop in the coming weeks, according to a recent tweet from the singer.

It marks the second collaboration between Sia and Lopez after their 2014 song, "Expertease (Ready Set Go)," which was featured on the deluxe version of Lopez's A.K.A.

"Limitless" also follows the release of her Bad Bunny collaboration "Te Gusté" and her DJ Khaled and Cardi B team-up "Dinero." While the music hustle has been consistent in recent years, Second Act serves as Lopez's big-screen comeback as her first movie role in three years after 2015's Lila & Eve and The Boy Next Door.
