After Pakistan Plane Crash, Man Passes Water Bottles Out To Rescue Workers

This is a truly beautiful story submitted by Ryan Blackburn, because it demonstrates that you really don’t need to have a lot to give something meaningful.

In Pakistan on Friday, there was a devastating plane crash. Unfortunately, only a couple people walked away from it, and it caused a lot of damage to the area. So, it has been a lot of work for teams to clean up. And there’s one man who, as far as I’m concerned, is making as much of an impact as those rescue workers.

Khalid Hussain is a daily wage worker who sells fruit in the area, and like a lot of people in his line of work, are financially suffering during this pandemic. However, Khalid still needed to help.

He’s been spotted for at least 3 days at the scene of the accident, handing out bottles of water to the rescuers.

He’s standing out there in the heat amongst the smoke, dragging a giant bag of water bottles that he continues to buy himself, to help those he feels are more deserving.

I am heartbroken over this man, in the best way. What a hero!
