Rosie Westerbeck, a senior at Minster High School, may be known for her ability to shoot hoops like a boss but it's what she does off the court that really shows how awesome she is!
This past December Rosie completed another successful year with a project known as the Red Wagon Campaign. In 2013, Rosie was able to fill 4 red wagons with toys and activities that she took to Dayton Children's Hospital to distribute to the patients. Now, as a senior she challenged herself and filled 13 wagons that were donated by members of the community!!
This past Saturday she was able to coordinate a visit to the hospital with the Reds Winter Caravan that was in Lima the night before. I spoke to Rosie and her parents the other night and they were so excited with the outcome of this year's Red Wagon Campaign and the visit from the Reds!
I am so proud of Rosie and all she does for her community!!
