Jennifer Lopez is not happy with recent headlines that elude to the possibility of a rekindled romance between her ex Ben Affleck and his former wife Jennifer Garner.
A source recently told Page Six that the "On The Floor" songstress is "furious" to see "flirty" photos of Affleck and Garner, referring to the snaps as "salt in the wound," as their divorce was just finalized last month.
Affleck and Lopez dated in 2002 before reconnecting in 2021. They tied the knot in 2022, four years after his divorce from Garner was finalized, and officially ended their relationship in August 2024.
The affectionate photos of Garner and Affleck, who were together from 2005 to 2015, were snapped during the Argo star's recent family outing with his son, Samuel, 13, and his ex-wife. In photos obtained by Page Six, Affleck seemed to grab the 13 Going on 30 actress by her midsection, and she did not pull away.
In addition to playful photos of the former pair, who share children Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, a rep for Affleck revealed that he would love to reignite a spark with Garner, given the chance, but he respects her current relationship too much.
"Ben just got out of a marriage and finalized his divorce [from Jennifer Lopez], he is really busy with work and is focused on this new chapter. Plus, Ben respects Jen’s relationship with John and would never come between them."
Garner is not interested in getting back together with the Justice League sensation, as sources told Page Six she's enjoying her relationship with partner John Miller and plans to maintain a strict co-parenting connection with Affleck.
All that to say, Lopez remains focused on filming Netflix's Office Romance and has very little time to keep up with the new narrative.
"I doubt she has even seen these stories as she is consumed with the film. She has been fully concentrating on her life, her growth, and her happiness," an additional source revealed.
