Janet Jackson and Maxwell had the world wondering if they were dating after the accomplished artists spent some quality time together overseas.

The rumor mill began to spin after the Grammy Award-winning artists held hands as they arrived at the 1500th performance of "Cabaret At The Kit Kat Club" in London earlier this week. Janet and Maxwell looked pretty cozy as they walked into the venue together. Both singers immediately sent shockwaves through the industry after they saw Janet lead Max into the event. Despite the assumptions from gossip outlets everywhere, Janet and Max are just really good friends.

A source told TMZ that Janet Jackson and Maxwell are not dating. Both artists have been friends for a very long time, which is probably why Ms. Jackson looked so comfortable with him. They're also very good at keeping their personal lives private. Jackson hasn't been publicly dated anyone since she and her ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana, got divorced in 2017. Meanwhile, Maxwell isn't in a relationship at the moment either. Nonetheless, they may be mingling, but they're definitely single.

Janet Jackson and Maxwell may not be dating, but they are touring. Earlier this year, the "Ascension" crooner announced new dates for his "Serenade Tour" with special guests Marsha Ambrosius, Kem, Leela James, and Lucky Daye. Meanwhile, Janet Jackson recently announced the last run of her residency at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas. The "All For You" singer is set to deliver six shows this fall before she takes her final bow on September 20.
