Disneyโs Olivia Rodrigo is breaking all kinds of records. The High School Musical: The Musical singer, 17, dropped her debut track โDrivers Licenseโ and has since surpassed Ariana Grandeโs โThank U, Nextโ with the biggest single-day stream.
The trackโs been trending #1 on all the charts since it came out, but itโs the rawness and authenticity of the lyrics that seem to be striking a chord with people โ as well as the drama that comes with the hit.
Rodrigo stars in Disneyโs High School Musical: The Musical: The Series alongside her now ex-boyfriend and love interest in the show Joshua Bassett. Fans have since put together that Bassett, who taught Olivia how to drive, has since moved on with Sabrina Carpenter and thereโs a lyric in the track where Olivia sings about โa blonde girl whoโs so much older.โ
To add to the drama, Joshua also has a single coming out titled โLie Lie Lie.โ
