Zoey Deutch Ate Four Whole Pizzas Filming That 'Set It Up' Pizza Scene

If you haven't watched Netflix's Set It Up yet, then you're missing out on a movie that pretty much everyone has watched over the last week that it's been out.

It's your pretty typical cute rom-com, but with a fun twist where two assistants, Harper and Charlie, are actually trying to set up their bosses at work just so they can get a chance to have a personal life outside of their crazy work lives.

And well, I won't ruin the rest of the movie because it is pretty cute.

The movie stars Zoey Deutch as Harper and Glen Powell as Charlie, and their on-screen chemistry kind of makes you forget that it's all a movie.

Zoey even said in an interview with HelloGiggles that she and Glen met previously on a movie set and immediately decided they needed to do a rom-com together:

"I swear — it’s not just a talking [point] kinda thing — the first day we met, we looked at each other square in the face, and we were like, “We have to find a rom-com to do together.”"

Fans of the fun new Netflix movie will remember the adorable and memorable scene where Harper and Charlie eat a pizza... and now you'll have a whole new reason to remember the scene. Because Zoey just admitted that she totally ate 4 whole pizzas during the filming of the scene... and then threw up.

First, she explained that she talked to the prop guy to make sure she got the pizza:

"I talked to the prop master and I said, “Hey, just plain cheese from Joe’s. Just Joe’s Pizza.”And he was like, “Great.” So he got four pizzas, and Glen got gluten-free pizza from a place around the corner, because he’s healthy and takes care of his body, unlike [me]."

And then admitted how bad it was that she had FOUR pizzas to herself:

"Glen was smart. He was careful. He was wise. I ended up eating four full pizzas — four full, large pizzas — from Joe’s Pizza, and I threw up violently halfway through the scene. And then I had to proceed to be very close to Glen Powell, who now, I think, looks at me in a very different light."

I appreciate Zoey so much for just keeping things super real all the time. Her Instagram is full of shots like this:

And by the way, Zoey said she wanted to play Harper so badly that she literally adopted the mannerisms of Set It Up's writer:

"Once I met Katie Silberman, the writer, I ended up pretty much stealing her for the part. I dyed my hair her color. I stole mannerisms of hers. She has a little hair tie she wears around her wrist that she always plays with on her index finger. I did that almost the whole movie. I stole her cadence, her mannerisms. I fully was a creep and a weirdo."

Obsessed.

OK, gonna go watch the movie again. And cringe a little at the pizza scene.
