Miranda Kerr Says She's Embracing Her 'Mum Bod'

Even for stunning models like Miranda Kerr, your body changes after you have kids!

Miranda recently opened up about how her body has changed since welcoming her second child earlier this year, but she's also talking about how she has just accepted the changes as they come - and THAT is the kind of attitude I like to hear!

In an interview for Marie Claire Australia, Miranda opened up about her relationship with her body post-babies:

“It’s really important as women that we’re gentle with ourselves and don’t feel like we have to snap back into shape after a baby."

She even added: “It’s OK, I’ve got a mum-bod and it’s fine!”

Miranda welcomed her second child, and her first with husband Evan Spiegel, in May - a boy named Hart. She is also a mom to 7-year-old Flynn who she shares with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, so she is no stranger to mom life, but it seems that with baby #2, she's accepting a longer journey back to her pre-baby body, if she gets there at all.

“I don’t mind. It’s all part of it. I took nine months — well, 10 months — to grow a beautiful child and it might take 10 months to feel good in a swimsuit again. Or longer. Or never!”

Of course, Miranda looks AMAZING, but we all have different relationships with our bodies and it's hard when you don't feel like yourself. I know I definitely struggle with the day-to-day feeling of not really loving my body, but I am trying to both work on physically improving it and mentally accepting myself the way I am.

At the end of the day, It's pretty amazing what women can do. We create new life inside of our bodies, and then care for the babies once they're here! So, yeah, if it takes a couple of months, or even years, to get back to my body from before, then it's all worth it.

So much love to Miranda for being open about all of this!
