Visitors Are Stealing Things From 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' To Sell

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Media Preview At The Disneyland Resort

It's not often that we hear stories that make us think Disneyland might not be the happiest place on earth - but sadly, this is one of them.

Because some Disneyland go-ers have taken it upon themselves to visit the brand new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge... and steal artifacts from the brand new and iconic part of the theme park, and then sell them on eBay.

I mean, come on guys?! Can't we have anything without ruining it?! This is a little much.

The brand new 14-acre addition to the theme park opened only last month for fans who made special early reservations, and opened to the wider public this week. But of course, like all good things, they're already having issues with the park's opening.

The Orange County Register revealed that a number of items found within the new section of Disneyland were showing up for bidding on eBay. Items such as ametal spork from the dining spot Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, pilot assignment cards, which are handed out to riders on the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction, and dozens of Oga’s Cantina menus and coasters are popping up on the resale site and are selling for a lot of money.

Sadly, in order to try and resolve the issue, the park has stopped carrying many of the items that have started to go missing such as the metal sporks and Galaxy's Edge maps.

Of course, paraphernalia that is sold within the new area of the park is also showing up online and being sold for hundreds more dollars than it was originally bought for - but that isn't something that can really be regulated. And if someone in a part of the world who can't make it out to California to visit Galaxy's Edge wants to spend $500 on a resold light saber then, I guess, be my guest?

But come on!!! Enough with the menu stealing... right?
